Carbon Economy College

About Us…

Our Carbon Economy College has been created to provide members of our community with education and training so that they can successfully operate in a growing carbon economy. We believe through learning these skills, not only do they benefit from what they’ve learnt, but the the whole community can benefit too. 

We have provided jobs for young people to learn skills associated with the a growing carbon economy. As well as providing paid training placements for locals over 25, where they have the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to thrive in a growing carbon economy. This is with the end goal of creating environmental, horticultural and community champions. 

So far our community champions have turned unused land into beautiful green spaces for the community. Providing a safe, green space where everyone can learn to grow food, take part in leisurely activities and fun events.
